Getting started with NoChase
January 8, 2025
NoChase is built around one idea: chasing payment shouldn't feel like chasing. You stay in control of every email; we handle the timing, the tone, and the follow-through. Here's the whole workflow, end to end.
1. Add an invoice
Create one from scratch or paste in a whole batch via CSV import — number, client, amount, and due date are all NoChase needs to get started.
2. Generate a reminder sequence
One click drafts a four-step sequence tuned to the due date:
- a friendly heads-up before the invoice is due,
- a gentle nudge a few days after,
- a firmer follow-up a week or two later,
- a final last call if it's still unpaid.
Every draft is written to be polite, specific, and easy to act on — the kind of email you wouldn't mind receiving yourself.
3. Review, approve, relax
Nothing is sent until you approve it. Edit any step, change the tone, or drop steps you don't want. Once the sequence is approved, NoChase sends each step on schedule — and automatically cancels everything the moment the invoice is marked paid.
What's next
Import a batch of existing invoices via CSV, connect Stripe so payments are detected in real time, and you're fully set up. Most freelancers run an entire month of reminders in a single sitting — then get back to the actual work.
